Nature is beautiful, so let's protect it
Our charming little family campsite La Porte d'Autan has just become a Refuge of the League for the Protection of Birds.
What is this ?
LPO France and its network of Local Associations and Groups are developing a program for preserving biodiversity and discovering local nature called “My establishment is an LPO Refuge”.
This designation is a label highlighting areas that preserve and develop biodiversity while offering humans a high quality of life.
By creating an LPO Refuge, the La Porte d'Autan campsite makes a moral commitment to preserving nature, improving biodiversity on my Refuge and respecting the following principles:
1: Create conditions conducive to the establishment of wild fauna and flora. By protecting birds and nature, ensuring the tranquility of the area. By diversifying and developing, according to the size of my Refuge, habitats favorable to wild fauna and flora. By prioritizing the planting of species that grow naturally in my region.
2: Refrain from using chemical products. By adopting an ecological management approach for my Refuge and favoring manual weeding techniques or organic products.
By favoring natural fertilizers (compost, nettle manure, etc.)
3: Reduce the impact on the environment. By adopting eco-friendly practices, particularly by using natural resources like water responsibly and recycling household waste.
4: Make the LPO Refuge “My establishment is a Refuge” a hunting-free zone for biodiversity
So see you very soon at our campsite for a nature holiday.
