Looking for a campsite with a swimming pool and paddling pool near Carcassonne? A stay at Camping La Porte d'Autan is just what you're looking for! Whether you want to cool off, swim a few laps, splash around, have fun, or soak up the sun, there's something for everyone

Our swimming area is open from mid-June to mid-September, from 10 am to 8 pm. We also offer an evening session once a week so you can enjoy the water until nightfall.
The 17m x 10m pool, with depths ranging from 0.80m to 1.80m, is ideal for relaxation and offers pleasant swimming experiences. The pools are exposed to the sun all day long and are therefore naturally heated.

Children also have their own little corner of paradise with their swimming area: a large paddling pool, measuring 10m x 4m, with a depth of 30cm, which will allow them to have their first experiences with water.

All around the pools, numerous sun loungers and parasols are available for you to enjoy the pleasant sunbathing that Occitanie has to offer. Take the opportunity to relax and recharge.

To allow people with reduced mobility to enjoy the pool areas, direct access has been provided.

Ideal for spending time together in a friendly atmosphere, with family, children, friends…or your neighbors!

In high season, treat yourself to a relaxing break at the snack bar of our small family campsite La Porte d'Autan.

Ginaï and Haïlina, our two miniature horses, are waiting for you to share some tender moments. They love cuddles. So don't forget to stop and say hello as you pass by their paddock, otherwise they'll be sure to call out to you to remind you.

Camping events

This is your first unmissable event at the campsite: the welcome drink. We don't do long speeches here. We simply invite you to join us for a glass of wine from a local producer, to get to know each other in a friendly atmosphere.
This gathering takes place every Monday evening from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Another weekly event: the mini market, which sets up in the evening with 100% local products. Every Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm

And our nature sessions, once a week: Nature Club for children aged 6 to 12, discovering nature in a fun and creative way.

All these activities are organized from approximately July 10th to August 20th.

For the happiness of athletes

Starting from or near the campsite, numerous trails will delight hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. Eighteen marked trails of all levels await you, allowing you to discover the treasures of our beautiful Montagne Noire

Canoeing/kayaking, horseback riding, treetop adventure courses, leisure centers… there is no shortage of sporting activities near the campsite, just ask us.

Wi-Fi

It's not Wi-Fi that connects people, it's happy hour! Sustainable development means meeting people at the pool, around the barbecue, or simply chatting with your neighbor. So at Camping La Porte d'Autan, we've chosen to only provide Wi-Fi around the reception and snack bar. And here, it's still free. 4G coverage throughout the campsite will also allow you to connect from your pitch or rental accommodation.

Grocery store

You'll find essential items there, as well as local wines. Two grocery stores are available in our charming little village of Saissac.
Bread and pastries are provided by our baker, who is located a 10-minute walk from our campsite.
