From its summit, a 360° panorama unfolds before you: the Pyrenees, the Tarn River, the plains of Minervois and Corbières… and even the Mediterranean Sea on a clear day! The orientation tables installed there will help you decipher this magnificent landscape. On a clear day, the Alpine peaks can be seen to the east.

History and heritage

The name Pic de Nore comes from the Latin word "niger," meaning "black," a reference to the dense forests that once surrounded it. The imposing television relay station, although modern, blends into this exceptional landscape and now serves as an iconic landmark.

An easy climb

By car, you can park directly at the foot of the antenna, making it easily accessible to everyone. From Pradelles-Cabardès, the summit is only 10 minutes away! Marked trails also allow access on foot or by bike for the more adventurous. Along the way, take advantage of the rest areas, ideal for a break surrounded by nature.
